Stephen K Amos will be performing on Wednesday 17 January at 8pm. Brexit. Trump. No more Mary Berry on the Great British Bake Off. Things are looking bleak so wouldn’t it be better to just forget all about it for the evening in the company of the ‘effusively charming’ Amos? Catch his show at the Guildhall Theatre. Tickets are priced at £18.75 and the show is suitable for those aged 16 years and over.

Performing from Tuesday 30 January 2018 - Saturday 3 February 2018 at the Guildhall Theatre, The Wizard of Oz tells the story of Dorothy and her friendships and foes in the mystical land of Oz after she and her loveable pet dog Toto, are swept away from their Kansas home by a cyclone. A story of ambition, generosity and courage: The Wizard of Oz has become one of the most popular children’s stories in American literature. Join the Scarecrow, Lion and Tin Man as they travel through the weird and wonderful land of Oz, encountering Wet Witches, Flying Monkeys, Poisonous Poppies and a multitude of Munchkins along the way! What could possibly go wrong?

The Wizard of Oz guarantees an evening of laughter and mayhem, giving this iconic story the quirky ‘Oddsock spin’. Tickets are priced from £13.50 - £17.50 and the show is suitable for over 5 year olds. Concession, Group rates, School rates and Family tickets are available along with BSL and Audio described performances. This show is part of our LIVESaver Scheme. Cream tea will be served 30 minutes before the matinee performance, for just £4.75 by advance booking only.

Tea with the Old Queen is being performed on Wednesday 7 February from 7.30pm at the Guildhall Theatre. A funny, witty and poignant play revealing the eccentricities of our monarchy as recorded in the fictitious ‘secret’ diaries of William Tallon – Steward and Page of the Backstairs to the Queen Mother. Tickets are available for £14.50 and this is part of our LIVESaver Scheme.

Produced by Banner Theatre, Rise, Like Lions! is at the Guildhall Theatre on Thursday 8 February 2018 from 7.30pm and weaves inspirational stories of workers in struggle with music, song and video. Tickets are priced at £12 and this show is part of our LIVESaver Scheme. Concessions and group rates are available.
