We've got a packed schedule for you to enjoy over the Easter school holidays!

Queen’s Leisure Centre will have pool parties for the kids to have fun with their friends and family. There will be music, floats and inflatables on Tuesday 11, Thursday 13, Tuesday 18 and Thursday 20 April. Entry to the pool party is £4.10.

If you would like to learn to swim there will be a 3 day course available for children to complete Stage 1, Stage 2 and Stage 3 on Tuesday 11 – Thursday 13 April. This is suitable for children aged 5 years and over. If you would like to improve your swimming, you can enrol on the 3 day course to complete Stage 4, Stage 5 and Stage 6 on Tuesday 18 – Thursday 21 April. Each three day course costs £16.35 to attend and session times can be found online.

At Springwood Leisure Centre, children can enjoy a giant games session with Jenga, Dominos, Connect 4, snakes and ladders, and more for children aged 4 to 10 years on Monday 10 and Monday 17 April at 1.30pm. This will cost £4.50 to attend.

Easter Cupcake Decorating will let your mini bakers unleash their creativity in a special Easter themed activity for 5 to 11 year olds on Tuesday 11 and Tuesday 18 April at 10am, at a cost of £4.95 per child.

There will also be an Easter Bouncy Castle and Soft Play session for children up to 6 years old on Tuesday 11, Thursday 13, Tuesday 18 and Thursday 20 April, which will cost £4.00 - this is an activity for parents to get involved with too! These sessions are taking place at 1pm.

Thrill seekers can also try out the child-friendly ninja warrior circuit, which is a great way for kids to have fun and keep fit. There will be two sessions for each age group (5-11 years at 1.30pm and 11-16 years at 3pm) on Friday 14 and Friday 21 April so everyone can enjoy getting involved for £5.00.

Derby Arena will have half price racket sports between 8am and 4pm, giving families the chance to play a game of table tennis or badminton for half price on Monday 10 – Friday 14 and Monday 17 – Friday 21 April.

If you'd like to take up track cycling you'll be pleased to learn the popular family track cycling sessions will be available again on Monday 10, Tuesday 11, Friday 14, Monday 17, Tuesday 18 and Friday 21 April with prices from £20! No experience is needed; qualified coaches will provide advice and the correct equipment to enjoy this fantastic sport. Young people aged 9 to 15 years can take part in the youth beginner sessions on Monday 10, Tuesday 11, Friday 14, Monday 17, Tuesday 18 and Friday 21 April for £10.50, with no specialist equipment required. This is a great way to get into track cycling.
