A trio of Highland cows have returned to Sinfin for their annual graze.

The cattle come to visit around this time each year as part of a collaboration between Derbyshire Wildlife Trust (DWT), Derby City Council and Friends of Sinfin Moor Park Local Nature Reserve

Conservation grazing is an important process to ensure the area stays rich in biodiversity. The project is part of the restoration of the native wildflower meadows within the balancing pond and pylon fields at the park. Part of the project involves bringing in cattle to graze the fields this autumn!

Why not come down to Sinfin Moor Park to see if you can spot the moo-vellous animals!
