Location: iPro Stadium, Pride Park

About the event

Ramathon is a 13.1 mile race which starts and finishes at the iPro Stadium in Derby. The race will begin at 9.30am.

Building on the huge success of the previous three years, Ramathon is returning even bigger and better for 2017, with 5,000 places on offer.

Whether chasing a personal best, attempting a race for the first time, or fundraising for a worthy cause, Ramathon welcomes runners of all abilities whatever the aim.

Having firmly made its mark as Derby’s premier annual running event, runners will once again gather in the city to take part in this unique and fast growing race, which will start and finish at the home of the Rams: Derby County’s iPro Stadium.

Taking in the bustle of the city centre and the scenic grounds of Elvaston Castle Country Park, Ramathon is one of the flattest half marathon courses in the country, providing runners with the potential to achieve a personal best.

With live entertainment and thousands of spectators set to line the course, runners will be cheered on to the finish line.

Included in this year’s entry fee:

  • Commemorative Ramathon medal
  • Technical finishers’ t-shirt
  • Downloadable finishers’ certificate
  • Pre and post-race massage
  • Secure baggage area
  • Water and fuelling stations

In addition to the main race, children and families can compete in the Mini Ramathon fun run.

Ramathon is managed according to UKA rules – UKA License Number 2016-22816

In accordance with UK Athletics Rules, no one under the age of 17 years on race day will be permitted to participate in the half marathon race.
