We have a number of sites that are used for grass football. We have developed our sites for outdoor sport and the most recent developments are the Racecourse and Alvaston Park. Having received funding from the Football Foundation, we are committed to developing these sites and football across the city.
We operate a 'open' football season from August to April each year to support and develop football grass participation. The FA affiliated leagues have priority for league fixtures and cup games through this period.
