Young Person's Health & Fitness Membership
The Junior gym offers a brilliant gym and swim membership for young people aged 11 to their 17th birthday. The gym is available to young people age 12 until their 17th birthday. You don't need to be accompanied by an adult if you're attending a Junior gym session.
What activities are available
Junior Gym is still available across all sites. Spaces will need to be pre-booked and are limited. Junior members can register to book online but require their own email address to do so.
Young people aged 12-16 can use the gym facilities for just £1.65.
Also, Junior Gym members can still attend outside of session blocks if accompanied with an over 18 the charge will be £3.90 for this. Please note, this is restricted to the use of cardio and resistance machines, although they would be able to use free weights from 16 years old.
What times will I be able to use the gym?
*Please note our gym is available to juniors age 12 up to their 17th birthday.
All activities are bookable over the phone or online, this includes gym, classes, badminton and swimming. With bookings online you will be able to see availability and pay, which will allow you a quick access to your activity on arrival at the centre.
Swimming is available at Queen's Leisure Centre during public swim sessions, for young people aged 11-16, at a cost of £1.65. Public swim times vary throughout the year, so remember to check the pool programme here.
How to join
You will need to complete the Junior Gym application form prior to your visit,and complete the Activity consent form to use the gym, which your parent will need to sign.
