Wed 8 Feb 2023
Springwood Leisure Centre is excited to share the first stages in the development of the new Indoor Cycling Studio
Following the announcement of securing section 106 funding, Springwood Leisure Centre has images of the new development and the enhanced fitness offered to Derby Active members. The new indoor cycling studio will increase its current class capacity by 20%, with 20 new Keiser M3i Spin Bikes.
The room will provide immersive mood lighting, large interactive screens, and a state-of-the-art music system. Each bike has the newest technology including data screens to display RPM and Power output and link to the Keiser App.
With the ever-evolving fitness industry Derby Active wants to provide the ultimate consumer fitness experience, providing an exercise space that is motivating and inspiring. The studio will run a combination of instructor lead and virtual classes.
The indoor cycling immersive studio is planned to be ready by March. We will keep these pages updated with progress and images over the next few months.
