Mickleover Library Space Race animal handling workshop

About the event
Join the ZooLab team this summer and be inspired by amazing animal space facts at these hands-on storytelling workshops. Meet and handle a range of exotic animals including stick insects, tree frogs, corn snakes, tarantulas and giant African land snails. Suitable for children aged four and over.
This is a free event. To attend children must be signed up to the Space Chase Summer Reading Challenge 2019 and be a library member
Booking is essential for children’s places only. Parents and carers are welcome to stay to watch and will be placed behind the children.
Book from Saturday 13 July.
Children under six must be accompanied by an adult carer.
PLEASE NOTE: There are limited places for this event, which will be strictly adhered to. This is to ensure that all booked attendees have a full and valued experience when handling the animals and to avoid any stress to the animals. Please only come if you have a booked place and be sure to print off and bring your confirmation email or ticket.
