Building alterations at Riverside Chambers are in progress. These works include changes to part of Derby Local Studies and Family History Library’s storage areas and will impact access to some library materials and to customer donations until 31 August 2026. We recommend contacting the library ahead of your visit:

The library will close at 1pm on Thu 30 Jul for essential roof repairs, and reopen later this year.

Improvements include a new children’s area, upgraded computers, fresh interior paint, and opening on Saturday mornings.
