A new opportunity for you and your library. 

Are you passionate about your local library? Now’s your chance to make a difference!

Ten Derby libraries are proposed to become community managed, as part of the Council's plans to safeguard them.

Whether you want to run things or just help out for a couple of hours a week, there's a role for you.

Take part in this opportunity to contribute to the future success of your library.

Information about running a Community Managed Library (CML)

Past briefing sessions

Friday 20 October at 12noon to 2pm

Monday 18 September at 10:30am, 2pm and 6pm
Tuesday 19 September at 11:30am, 2:30pm and 6pm

The process

Community groups or organisations are invited to SUBMIT AN APPLICATION to run one or more libraries by midday, Monday 4 December 2017.

Support will be available to help groups develop their proposals.
