Application form

Teams in Derby Junior Football League and Derbyshire Girls and Ladies League (not Seniors) should contact their League Secretary.

In 2024-25 Derby City Council are only offering 11v11 pitches.

Derby City Council will operate 4 HUB football sites for the 2024-25 football season: Alvaston Park, Chaddesden Park, Darley Playing Fields and Sinfin Moor Park. Teams interested at playing at the venues below should contact them directly:

For the 2024-25 season Derby City Council will continue to operate the 4 HUB sites listed above and as you work through the application form you will be able to apply for a home venue at one these sites. 

Once the application has been received, we will try to accommodate your preferred site. This will be undertaken on a first come, first served basis.

Please note, even if an application is received prior to the closing date, there is no guarantee that we will be able to offer you your preferred site. As demand can easily outstrip supply, with only so much capacity for matches at the allotted kick off time for each site. Where this is the case, we will endeavour to offer you an alternative site or if available an alternative kick off time. This will be undertaken on a first come first served basis.

If an application, is received following the closing date, we will endeavour to offer your first choice as capacity allows but no guarantees are made depending upon the above.

11v11 Kick Off times: 10.30 am and 2.00 pm

This is necessary to:

  • To reduce our reliance on additional parking elsewhere which is not always available.
  • To reduce our reliance on grass parking which is not always suitable due to ground conditions.
  • To comply with our Health and Safety Risk Assessment process for managing parking.
  • To ensure emergency access if required.
  • To ensure all our customers have a more enjoyable experience when visiting the parks concerned.

The person completing this application for hire will be entering into a contract with Derby City Council and therefore will be responsible for all financial payments. Please tick the box to accept responsibility as the hirer for payments.

Payment options

  • One up front payment by cash or card to be paid by 1 November 2024.
  • Two payments by cash or card. First payment to be made by 1 November 2024 and second payment to be made by 1 February 2025.
  • Two direct debit payments which will be taken from your account on 1 November 2024 and 1 February 2025. (No direct debit surcharge will be applied).
