Nominations Open for Derby Parks Volunteer Awards 2027

Derby Parks is delighted to announce the return of its annual Volunteer Awards, with a celebration event set to take place in January 2027.

The awards recognise and celebrate the incredible individuals and groups who dedicate their time, energy and passion to improving Derby's parks, green spaces and communities. Members of the public are now invited to nominate volunteers who have made an outstanding contribution over the past year.

From organising community projects and events to supporting local wildlife, maintaining allotments and helping keep green spaces clean and welcoming, volunteers play a vital role in making Derby's parks vibrant places for everyone to enjoy.

The awards aim to recognise the dedication, creativity and hard work of those who make a real difference across the city.
