BMX tracks
BMX is a cycle sport on BMX bikes, either in competitive racing or freestyle BMX that consists of five disciplines; street, park, vert, trails and flat land where riders perform tricks based on the terrain.
BMX is a recognised Sport England sport and is governed by British Cycling.
BMT track at Alvaston Park
Our BMX track is one of the best in the country. The National Standard track has hosted regional and national race meetings.
The track is open to the public and available at any time, except when race events are being held.
Derby BMX Club
Derby BMX club is suitable for children. It runs BMX coaching for 10 year olds and under, and 11 year olds and over.
