We have a great range of outdoor sports facilities available in our parks.

Synthetic pitches

Springwood Leisure Centre - 5-a-side pitch filled with sand/rubber, specially designed for football. We also have a court suitable for 5-a-side football. Floodlights are also available.

There are good quality tennis courts at Alvaston Park, Darley Park, King George V Playing Fields and Markeaton Park.
All tennis courts are available to book online at Park Tennis Derby. Free sessions are available but must be booked in advance.

Derby Tennis League make it easy for adults to play friendly, competitive tennis.
