Derby Active leisure centres have something to offer everyone, no matter what your age or ability.
Whether you're new to exercise, an exercise fanatic, want to socialise or just have fun while being active, we have an activity for you.
Active Living Sports Session at Springwood Leisure Centre
Active fun including badminton, bowls and table tennis.
Everyone welcome, all ages, abilities, single, couples or groups.
Mondays from 1pm - 3pm.
Includes light refreshments and equipment.

Active Living Walking Netball
Walking Netball is a slower version of the well-known game; it is netball, but at a walking pace. The game has been designed so that anyone can play it regardless of age or fitness level.

Over 75s discount
If you are 75 years and over can use the gym, take part in classes and go swimming for £1.50 at Queen's Leisure Centre, Derby Arena or Springwood Leisure Centre, 9am to 4pm Monday to Friday and all weekend.
Identification detailing your age will be required on your first visit, to be eligible for the discount.
Forever Active is part of Move More Derby and is a free 12-month physical activity support programme for people over 60 combining gentle exercise to boost your strength and stability, reduce the risk of falls, and make activity part of your everyday life
You’ll meet with a mentor who will support you to find social activities tailored that you enjoy doing . Whether you want to try badminton, adapted sports like Walking Football or chair-based exercise, there’s something for everyone regardless of confidence or ability.
