Step back in time with The Derby Charity Retro, New and Classic Car Show

Derby LIVE and Retro Metal are pleased to bring the Derby Charity Retro, New and Classic Car Show to Markeaton Park. The show will include classic cars, retro vehicles, modern classics, new vehicles and lifestyle from the twenties to present day.
Cars, vans, motorcycles, trikes, scooters, bicycles, whether original or modified, will be on show, as well as brand new models so visitors can expect hot rods, American cars, Rolls-Royces, Jaguars, Lambrettas, Vespas, classic Fords, Minis, Harley Davidsons, Raleigh Choppers and old skool BMX and skateboards. Anything with wheels, of all shapes and sizes, will be on display.
There will be a lot on offer for the whole family, including DJs, live bands and acoustic artists, with plenty of food and drink to enjoy. There will also be children’s entertainment including bouncy castles and some fun vehicle-related games and competitions where visitors will have the chance to win a Jaguar F Type Coupe.
The Derby Telegraph and Derby LIVE are delighted to announce this year’s show will again include a large selection of New Car models from some of Derby’s biggest main dealers. There will also be a selection of Motorhomes on show in what is sure to make for a fantastic and fun event not only for the car enthusiast but for the entire family.
It’s anticipated this will be a great day out for the whole family in one of the East Midlands’ most popular parks. The Mundy Play Centre will be open as usual for children to enjoy the play area, canoes and more, and refreshments will be available at the Orangery Café.

The event will be taking place on Sunday 7 July from 10am in Markeaton Park, with free entry. Visitors parking will cost £1.60 up to 1 hour, £2.40 up to 2 hours, £3.80 up to 4 hours, over 4 hours £5.00. The overflow car park will cost £5. There will be free Disabled parking available with a Blue Badge. Exhibitors’ entrance will cost £5 per vehicle with entrance at Markeaton Island.
