How Can I Keep Myself In Shape All Year Round?

I'm going to let you in on a little secret. The 'battle' to stay in shape all year round is won before it even starts. What do I mean by this?

The decision to eat healthy, the decision to exercise, the decision to sleep well, the decision to meditate, is already decided before you even 'consciously' make it.

We are creatures of habit and comfort, many of the above things will challenge this comfort. If you leave it to chance in the beginning of your journey, you will find yourself struggling to break this pattern. Your brain will run on auto pilot and do what it has always done.

You have to proactively and directly make change in your life, start small and build it up. Tell yourself that you will change something and don't give yourself permission to fail. It sounds harsh but it gets easier. Getting initial traction is always the hardest part. Once the momentum starts, this mindset shift will begin to carry you by itself.
