About the Event

Come to our 10 year anniversary celebration of Derby Arena opening it's doors in 2015.

Calling all families and fun-seekers! Derby Arena is throwing a party like no other to celebrate its 10-year anniversary in style! Get ready for a fun-packed extravaganza that's bigger and better than ever before!

Our bouncy castle and inflatable obstacle course will have you jumping for joy! Plus, our partners at RS Coaching will be on hand to get you moving and inspired. And to set the mood, the infectious beats of steel drums from Rock It! Music Projects will keep the energy high!

But wait, there's more! Our world-class velodrome will be buzzing with activity, featuring taster sessions, as well as showpieces from the awesome Team Othen Aveas, our masters world champions! To top it off, our team will be putting the pedal to the metal with a thrilling 10-mile race and trophy presentation, sponsored by Rock It! Music Projects.

The confirmed Fun Fest activities are:

All activities will take place throughout the day between 9am - 4pm, apart from the fire engine, who will be here in the afternoon only.

Cycling programme:

9.30am to 12 noon - Track cycling taster sessions

12 noon - Team Pursuit demonstration by masters world champions Team Othen Aveas (Exhibition)

12.10pm - Derny & Keirin Racing (Exhibition)

12.25pm - Madison (Exhibition)

12.40pm - Derby Arena 10 Year anniversary 10 mile race followed by trophy presentation- Sponsored by Rock It! Music Projects

1pm to 4pm - Track cycling taster Sessions

All taster sessions are included in the entry fee for the day, and racing and exhibitions will have commentary to help explain what is going on.
