Pond Dipping at Markeaton Park
Join the Friends of Markeaton Park to discover the creatures living in Markeaton Lake.
Using pond nets, magnifiers and specimen tubes, help will be on hand to identify what you find and tell you a little about how it lives underwater.
It could be muddy and slippy beside the lake.
Meet at the boating hut at Markeaton Lake. Children under 16 to be accompanied by an adult. Dogs on leads welcome.
