Step in side The Magic Story Book a unique theatre experience for all the family.
Come along and join us as AVP Theatre invite you to listen to a series of classic tales. Step inside the Magic Story Book and watch our fairy, alongside a cast of mischievous puppets, bring these well-known tales to life. There's lots of interaction, laughs, and a few surprises along the way in this fun show perfect for all the family.

Located in the centre of the park, access is by foot along excellent pathways. Enter near the Duck pond, a small gateway to the side of the high walls, or through The Orangery which looks onto the formal gardens.

Markeaton Park main car park, DE22 4AA, entrance off Markeaton Island, A38, with 2m height restriction.
Disabled parking bays are available at the Mundy Play Centre car park.
