Storytimes

Come and join us for free Storytimes in our libraries. A chance for babies and toddlers to enjoy some brilliant stories together and explore the library space, and a chance for adults to connect and unwind with other parents and carers.

Derby Libraries has a brilliant collection of children’s books including sensory board books, songs and rhyme books and of course lots of amazing stories by award winning authors and illustrators. After each Storytime staff will be on hand to answer any questions and help families explore our stock.

Did you know library membership is free and babies can have a library membership card from birth? Membership unlocks access to thousands of books, stories, and lots more.

Who are they for?

They are for babies up to the age of three years, their parents or carers.
