Code Club at Mickleover Library

Children will learn the basics of computer programming using Scratch, including how to create simple computer games and animations.

Code Club is delivered by trained, knowledgeable volunteers and library staff. Children learn the basics of computer programming using Scratch, including how to create simple computer games and animations.

The Club runs weekly for one hour over 20 weeks.  

This event is supported by Code Club, a nationwide network of volunteer-led after school coding clubs for children aged 8-13.

Booking is essential

To apply for a space, complete the form and the team will be in touch and confirm a place.  

Children attending must be aged from 8 to 13 years at the start of the course and be a member of Derby Libraries.
