Learn more advanced techniques of Coding, ideal for children who have already attended a library Code Club
This is a four week course which moves children up a level from Derby City Libraries Code Clubs, although it’s not essential for them to have attended one of those.
It introduces different devices and an opportunity to learn more advanced coding techniques.
• A range of fun STEM activities combining code, design and electronics.
• A chance to level up coding skills, progressing from building blocks of pre-existing code with Scratch, to using Python.
• Use of devices including Makey-Makey, BBC Microbits and Raspberry Pi
• Opportunities for individual hands-on experiences
The ticket price covers attendance for the whole four week course at Mickleover Library. Sessions will run every Saturday afternoon 2.00pm-4.00pm from 12 January 2019 until 2 February 2019
The course is suitable for children aged 8–14
