About the Event

Join author Susan Hughes for some Halloween fun this half term.

Story-telling and and children's craft activity based on Susan Hughes book, Sprout's Halloween Surprise!

Everyone is excited for Halloween, including Sprout, until he is told by Pumpkin and Apple that sprouts are just for Christmas! Sprout needs to come up with an idea quickly if he wants to join the Halloween fun. But will it be a trick or a treat? And can he proved that sprouts aren't just for Christmas? He may be small in size but he's big in surprise!

Susan lives in Derbyshire and has a background in primary and early years education. She's passionate about young children learning through play and for reading to be fun! She loves to write fun and engaging stories for children and grown-ups to share together.
