Minecraft and coding workshops for children to take part in and experience new technologies.

Minecraft Education workshop, delivered by StemDays.com (3 hours)

Use Minecraft Education Edition to explore Derby and Normanton’s history and landmarks by working together to build a virtual world. 3 hours. Free, booking essential. Age 8 – 14. Parents can stay 

Children’s Code Club Plus (1 hour, 30 minutes)

Join us for a free taster of our popular Code PLUS course, where you’ll get the chance to see how your child’s coding skills can be applied to program miniature computers, including

  • Programming BBC micro:bits to talk to each other
  • Playing music on household items like fruit and coins using Makey Makey circuits

For ages 8-14. Parents and carers are welcome to stay.
