It’s World Book Day 4 March. World Book Day’s mission is to encourage reading for pleasure so they will be distributing 15 million £1 World Book Day tokens to children and young people across the country on March 4.

To support this amazing initiative Derby Libraries will be distributing tokens to members when they use our Click and Collect service. Each token can be used to buy a £1 World Book Day book or to get £1 off a full price book or audiobook. Tokens are valid from 13 Feb to 28 Mar 2021 and can be redeemed in participating bookshops and supermarkets. Tokens cannot be redeemed online. Many participating shops have already agreed to accept the tokens beyond the 28 Mar while stocks last.

Find out more about the Digital Book Tokens available through participating schools.

There is a fantastic range of books available this year from thrillers, to books about football and how to protect our planet.
