Do you live in Alvaston, love reading, want to get involved in your community, and believe in the power of books? Share your ideas and join The Friends of Alvaston Library.
Don’t have much time? The Friends Group is flexible - contribute as much time as you are able. 

Gardening Group

Do you want to combat the rising cost-of-living by learning to grow your own veg? Or do you love gardening and want to meet like-minded people? Alvaston Library is starting a new club for gardeners to share their knowledge and encourage a love of gardening. It doesn’t matter how much experience you have. You can also make use of the Alvaston Library Seed Exchange at the same time. Contact or drop in to Alvaston Library for more information.
