About the event

Join us for a delightful retelling of some traditional and some original fairy and folktales.

Tickets available to purchase on the day subject to availability, card payments only.


All told by Amy and a cast of wonderful puppets! Come along and find out if the Dragon Prince will ever be happy and see if Hansel and Gretel can find their way out of the woods!
There’s an interactive story to end and the opportunity to come and meet some of the puppets!

There are two sessions on each day at all five parks. Part of the Family Fun Days with a nature theme celebrating books and words on each park from 11am to 3pm.

Darley Park - Saturday 29 May in the Wildlife Garden:
11.00 – 11.45am

The Arboretum - Monday 31 May in the Wildlife Area
11.30am – 12.15

Markeaton Park - Tuesday 1 June in the Capability Garden

Sinfin Moor Park - Wednesday 2 June in the garden by the Community building

Each show lasts 45 minutes. You must book in advance and parents/carers will be required to supervise their children in the session.
Parents and children will sit on the grass in front of the show in socially distanced bubbles. Please bring folding chairs, blankets or mats to sit on.

Please complete a seperate order for each bubble/ household so that we can seat you appropriately.
