About the Event
Enjoy festive food, music, Christmas crafts, free Elf Trail and much more!
The annual Christmas extravaganza features live music, family festive activities, a craft fair and a bustling outdoor market. Family Festivities at Markeaton Park provides the whole family with the opportunity to buy cards, gifts, decorations and much more in the wonderfully unique Markeaton Park Craft units plus, the outdoor and indoor craft market in the Community Centre. Enjoy festive food from The Orangery, see our festive walkabout characters, or post your printable letter to Father Christmas at the Markeaton North Pole post box.
Children will love exploring the picturesque park while they take part in the Elf Trail. Find all the letters along the way and unscramble the festive word to enter our free prize draw to win a voucher for Mundy Play Centre. Enter before Friday 12 December and you could win a family ticket to see Dick Whittington at Derby Arena. You can enter the competition by telling us the word you found, plus your name and email address in the form on our website or hand it in at our post box at Markeaton Park Craft Village.
