Flood... what flood?
Wed 2 May 2018
After the wettest spring on record, the River Derwent flowed at its highest level in a number of years.
As a result, parts of the riverside path became flooded. Once the waters had receded there was a thick layer of silt and grime left behind.
The Derby Probation Team, who work closely with Derby Parks, jumped into action to clear the paths and what a fantastic job they have done!
Thank you to The Derby Probation team for keeping our parks running, and we hope all of you take a chance to walk along the riverside path when the weather is a little less wet!
