Go wild as we celebrate Wildlife Trusts’ 30 Days Wild

Mon 1 Jun 2020

This June, join thousands of people across the UK taking part in the Wildlife Trusts’ national nature challenge, 30 Days Wild! This campaign is for people of all ages, from children and families to businesses and care homes, and is designed to bring people closer to wildlife. The idea is simple – each day in June, Wildlife Trusts are encouraging people to discover nature by doing one Random Act of Wildness each day for the whole month. Doing this, you can incorporate some simple nature-based activities into your daily life and feel the benefit on your health, wellbeing and for the planet! See what you can discover in your garden, local area, or one of Derby’s many parks and open spaces.

You can sign up to take part on their website at wildlifetrusts.org/30DaysWild, and then you’ll get a free downloadable activity pack to help you plan your month full of Random Acts of Wildness, plus give you lots of inspiration to stay wild all throughout June (and beyond!). You can try the Random Acts of Wildness suggested, or you can make up your own! Share your ideas on social media to help inspire thousands of others taking part by using #30DaysWild.

For extra bonus activities, keep an eye on your emails as Wildlife Trusts will be sending you additional, fun activities from hedgehog cupcakes recipes to wildlife photography for beginners!

One wild thing every day in June; will you take the challenge?
