Markeaton Park Paddling Pool is closed for repair work

Due to ongoing problems caused by the age of the structure, Markeaton Park Paddling Pool is closed for repairs.

Emergency repair works have been arranged and Council teams are doing everything they can with the aim of safely reopening the facility for the school summer holidays.

The Water Play area at Chaddesden Park is open from midday until 5pm at weekends and during the school holidays (weather permitting) until early September.

Water play at Chaddesden Park

Make a splash in the water play area at Chaddesden Park. Open weekends and school holidays during the summer season (end of May to early September) weather permitting. Come along with your friends and family and have an amazing time!

Paddling pool at Markeaton Park

Part of the Mundy Play Centre. A free way for children to make a splash in the summer with 3 fountains for extra fun, bring a towel and a picnic and play all day. The paddling pool is open 10:30am – 4:30pm during summer months only and is supervised by trained Council staff.
