Enjoy festive food, music, Christmas crafts, free Elf Trail and much more!

Family Festivities at Markeaton Park provides the whole family with the opportunity to buy cards, gifts, decorations and much more in the wonderfully unique Markeaton Park Craft units plus, the outdoor and indoor craft market in the Community Centre. Enjoy festive food from The Orangery, see our festive walkabout characters, or post your printable letter to Father Christmas at the Markeaton North Pole post box.

Music 

We are pleased to announce the following artists will be performing at Family Festivities 2023.
Derby Concert Band, Rock Choir, The Invisible Friends, Derwent Valley Wind Band, Local Vocals, Shannon Elmore, Chaddesden Ukulele Players and Gem Connection.

Crafts and stalls

There's lots to see and take part in this year including, Jumping Clay, Indoor Craft Market, Famous Trains Model Railway, Dog Grotto, Bubble Workshop, Wreath Making, Derbyshire Police, plus our Markeaton Park Craft Village units will be open. 

The Elf Trail
