Derby's FIRST Group run & good-deed task!

GoodGym arrives in Derby!

And starting it gorgeously-green running approximately 2km to & through Darley Park, where we'll be supporting the Friends of Darley Open Spaces (FoDOS) Wildlife Gardeners to spruce up what will soon become the Wildlife Garden. Currently known as the Butterfly Garden, this beautiful - and somewhat secret - space is being re-vamped so that it can be enjoyed by even more people. The group have some fabulous ideas to make this area more family-friendly, including a story-time zone & herb garden.

Lots of weeding, trimming, sweeping & general tidying to get stuck into on this first task to help prepare this open space for its transformation. Not forgetting the beautiful run through the lovely Darley Park... who's excited for Derby's first Group Run?! (I sure am!)

The start location every Tuesday is the Jury's Inn on King Street located in the City Centre, meeting at 6:15pm. You'll be able to leave bags in the luggage room & will have access to the toilets. 

Everybody Welcome... really!

The Group runs are suitable for all abilities. There will be a lead runner & a back-marker so that nobody is left behind & we reguarly regroup on the run to & from our task. Come do good & get fit with us... plus have lots of fun!
