Woofs and Walkies Charity Dog Walk

About the Event

Scarsdale Vets have teamed up with Move More Derby to organise a Woofs and Walkies Charity Dog Walk to raise money for Support Dogs.

Join Scarsdale Vets in association with Move More Derby for a family-friendly charity dog walk which aims to raise money for Support Dogs, a national charity dedicated to increasing independence and quality of life for people with various medical conditions.

We encourage families, friends and individuals to bring their dogs and enjoy a walk around Alvaston Park.

24 Fit Derby, a local fun exercise class provider, will be providing participants with a warm-up ahead of the walk.

Purchase a ticket for your dog(s) taking part only. Adults are welcome to make a charitable donation of their choice to Support Dogs on the day should they wish to.

Participants and their dogs are invited to arrive at Pride Veterinary Centre from 10.00am to register. Participants and their companions will then set off from Pride Veterinary Centre at 10.30am and walk the Alvaston Park route which leads back to Pride Veterinary Centre.

The walk takes approximately 1 hour to complete. After returning back to Pride Veterinary Centre, participants will receive a goody bag for their dog(s) and a certificate with all ticket/donated proceeds going to Support Dogs.

Refreshments provided by Cafe 2 U will be available to purchase at Pride Veterinary Centre before setting off for the walk at 10.30am.
